karon_moore Karon Moore was an internal diversity and inclusion consultant at The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc. With twenty years of experience as both a Generalist and a Specialist in Human Resources Management, she has been a key advocate of The Hartford's culture change efforts. As a result of Karon's and other's efforts and dedication, The Hartford's culture is changing; behaviors are becoming more inclusive, collaboration is increasing, and innovative processes and solutions are increasing the bottom-line and garnering recognition for the company outside the enterprise.

Karon is an officer of the Connecticut Council for the Advancement of Diversity, past President of Bethel Ministry to Women at Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Bloomfield, CT, active in Bethel's Prison Ministry, and currently studying Native American spirituality. Since attending the Creating High Performing Organizations (HiPo) lab in 1995, she has partnered with The Kaleel Jamison Consulting Group, Inc., in a variety of endeavors including guest staffing at subsequent HiPo labs, cofacilitating conference presentations and collaborating with KJCG members on articles. Karon recently joined the editorial board of the OD Practitioner, the magazine of the OD Network. Karon has a degree in english, with a minor in twentieth century thought and expression, and a Life Teaching Credential. She completed the NTL Diversity Management Certification Program in July of 1998 and is a member and an officer in The Conference Board's Diversity 2 Council.
